The following is a list of episodes from the eighth season of Rugrats, listed in production order.
For this season, the original two-segment format was brought back. However, the three-act structure for half-hour stories that debuted in the previous season remained.
"Bow Wow Wedding Vows", the third episode produced for this season, would mark the last episode in production order to feature Christine Cavanaugh as the voice of Chuckie Finster; afterwards, Nancy Cartwright would take over the role (though Candi Milo provided Chuckie's voice in the video games Rugrats: Royal Ransom and Rugrats Go Wild).
The episode "Sweet Dreams" is meant to come before "The Fun Way Day" in chronological order, as the former episode has Chas and Kira announce that they're going into the coffee-shop business, complete with a look at the Java Lava before its remodeling. Confusingly, though, "Sweet Dreams" comes after "The Fun Way Day" in both production and airing order for unknown reasons.
