Rugrats Pre-School Daze (also known as Angelica and Susie's Pre-School Daze) is an animated television series. It is the third incarnation of the Rugrats franchise. In this series Angelica and Susie are entering pre-school. It is based on the Rugrats episode that piloted it. It first aired in the United Kingdom on July 25, 2005, and was released on the Tales from the Crib: Snow White and Three Jacks and a Beanstalk DVDs before airing on Nickelodeon in the United States from November 16, 2008 to December 7, 2008 at 6:00 AM Eastern Time. With only four episodes produced and aired, it is the shortest-lived Nicktoon ever produced and the second one to be a spin-off.
In 2001, the show was commissioned, along with All Grown Up!, for 13 episodes and was slated to premiere late 2002. It was also announced that the new spin-off was to feature new looks for the two characters.
The next official word on this series was in a press release for All Grown Up! in September 2002, which it was announced that it was now a mini-series of four episodes, and there were also known to be complications involving the planned animation designs for the characters. With the success of All Grown Up! (which was actually supposed to begin after this series), the spin-off was forgotten until May 2005, when Klasky-Csupo announced that it had completed the "first" 4 episodes, and would release them on the Rugrats: Tales From The Crib DVDs.
For a brief period of time in 2010, Pre-School Daze was put back on the air on Nickelodeon on weekend mornings, showing all of the episodes once, and then it was taken off the air again.
