Short Films by Short People is a collection of short films created by children originally aired between programs. It reran two years after its debut and often shown in the afternoon on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. as well to fill in time. Most of the shorts are considered lost. The Paley Centre for Media had to compile a list to confirm their existence. Several shorts were featured on Phred on Your Head Show. Every short's plotline varied, much like Snick Snack. Most were live-action stories with a moral.

The tween demands a birthday cake and her mom isn't sure what it is, so she gets the computer for help and after the Cake's done she and her daughter do nothing with it. Granny wonders if it sings and celebrates her birthday lonely, an Alien invades and hears this so it takes the tween's cake to her for celebration. |
