Skye is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Marshall) of the Nick Jr. series PAW Patrol. She debuted in the show's first episode, "Pups Make a Splash". Her job as the pilot and flyer.
Biography[]
Skye is a Cockapoo and the first female member of the PAW Patrol. Her favorite color is pink. As the team's air rescue pup, her main jobs are flying and locating things, often seen with her helicopter's grappling hook and harness, helping people and transporting other team members. She has excellent memorization skills (as seen in "Pup Pup Boogie").
She was raised in a barn where she spent her days waiting to be adopted until she caught a glimpse of Ryder, who was making a delivery, and chased after him through a severe blizzard. After spotting her in the snow, Ryder adopts Skye and takes her back to the Lookout, where he then recruits her where she later becomes the aviation pup of the PAW Patrol.
Personality[]
Energetic and ready to help, Skye is a dependable, fearless and smart dog that patrols the skies. She loves to fly in her helicopter and with the wings in her pup pack, and has a passionate interest in all things aviation related. When excited, she has a penchant of giggle-barking and doing a backflip with grace and a smile. She is also friendly and playful. She likes to participate with her fellow PAW Patrol friends in fun activities such as Pup Pup Boogie. However, she and Zuma seem to have a rivalry and tend to be competitive with each other. Sometimes, she gently teases the other pups who can't keep up with her in the games they play.
She is not afraid of heights at all. However, she does have a fear of eagles (Aetophobia), as seen in "Pups Save a Toof", but she overcomes this fear many times to help others. She does not mind harmless baby eagles as seen in "Pups Save an Eagle". She has a soft spot for cute animals, especially bunnies. Skye often gushes over them when they're in sight. Like Rubble, Skye is sweet towards little kittens as long as they're not The Kitten Catastrophe Crew.
She is more feminine in behavior than Everest and loves getting her fur styled at Katie's salon. Skye loves pink and is rather fond of dressing up femininely, especially on Halloween.
She also shows empathy for some people, as shown with Victoria Vance in The Mighty Movie, after she told her that she was bullied and made fun of by her former colleagues in her former group. Upon hearing her story, Skye was shocked to hear this, and felt sorry for her despite everything she did to her and the PAW Patrol.
When before or after her rescues, Skye loves playing with the other pups, especially Zuma, Everest, Liberty, Marshall, Chase and Coral.
Appearance[]
Skye has golden-brown fur, an orange shade to her shaggy ears, wavy tail, the tuft of fluff on her forehead, and the circles around her eyes. She has a cream hue to her legs, muzzle and belly, brown eyebrows and nose, and magenta eyes with three small eyelashes. She wears a light pink collar around her neck with her pup tag attached. Her uniform is a pink pilot uniform and her pilot's helmet has a pair of goggles. She also wears a light pink pup pack included with some flying wings.

Like all of the PAW Patrol pups, Skye has her own personalized pup tag which she uses to make calls to Ryder, The Lookout, and the other pups, as well as make video calls to said members. Hers is customized with a pink background and a copter flying on it to represent her job as an aviator. The Mighty Pups version of her pup tag has a tornado on it.
Equipment and Vehicles[]
Pup Pack[]
Skye's pup pack can transform into a set of wings and her jets to allow her to fly. Her Mission PAW-themed pup pack contains a set of wings and a suction cup launcher, while her Sea Patrol-themed pup pack contains a rescue buoy and a parasail. Her Mighty Pups-themed pup pack has a set of wind-rider wings, while her Rescue Knights-themed pup pack has a set of dragon wings. In "Air Pups", she was given a super-sonic winged jet pack with a glider attached for air-based rescues.
Goggles and Visor[]
Skye's flight goggles also function as binoculars which she allows to see things from afar, while in "Air Pups", her helmet's visor is equipped with goggle vision.
Vehicles[]
Skye's vehicle is a grey and pink helicopter with white and purple highlights. It is equipped with a hook or a harness in the back and a cable that can be used to pick up things that are out of reach. While on a jungle missions, her helicopter is painted camouflage, adding a pair of pontoons to the sides of her helicopter alongside with the wheels. Its vehicle number is 04.
In the Mission PAW sub-series, her vehicle is the "sky-cycle", a motorbike with the ability to transform into a four-wheeled hovercraft.
In the Sea Patrol sub-series, her vehicle is a seaplane equipped with a scoop. It also has a land mode.
In the Ultimate Rescue sub-series, her helicopter is upgraded into a Tandem-Rotor chopper that can be used to fly long distances. It has two pilot seats, a cabin that can house four other pups and a lift for extra passengers to sit.
In the Mighty Pups, Super Paws sub-series, his vehicle is grey and pink plane that is powered by her powers of a whirlwind.
In "Ready Race Rescue", her vehicle is a grey race car with white and pink highlights that can runs on the ground at high speeds and transform into an aircraft.
In the Dino Rescue sub-series, her vehicle is a gray Pterodactyl-themed plane with pink and purple highlights that equipped with a hook.
In "Jet to the Rescue", her vehicle is a purple and grey jet with pink highlights that has two different modes: stealth and rescue. When in rescue mode, the wings extend out and give her access to a hook or a harness.
In the Moto Pups sub-series, her vehicle is a gray motorcycle with pink and purple highlights that can function both on the ground and the sky. It gains aerodynamic wings and fins after transforming for flight.
In the movies, her vehicle in Adventure City is a sleek and aerodynamic helicopter that can transform into an hyper-sonic jet form. It is equipped with an ejector seat, net and a grappling hook.
In the Rescue Knights sub-series, her vehicle is a silver copter with pink and purple highlights that is equipped with a pair of hooks.
In the Big Truck Pups sub-series, vehicle is a grey big truck with purple and white highlights that the trailer rises horizontally and transforms into a command-center that can activate her rescue jet.
In the Aqua Pups sub-series, her vehicle is a purple manta ray-themed submarine with gray, teal and pink highlights. It is able to function underwater and in the air by flipping its wings. It is equipped with horns and a hook or a harness.
In The Mighty Movie and the Mighty Pups sub-series (from Season 10), her vehicle is a white and black jet with pink highlights. When powered-up by her power paws, the vehicle's streaks glow pink. It has in stealth mode and is equipped with two laser turrets and the wings of her jet that can spin and shoot some giant rock things.
In the Jungle Pups sub-series, her vehicle is a silver falcon-themed jet with pink, purple, and yellow highlights that has a pair of retractable legs with yellow claws. It is also able to imitate the sound of a falcon that can to communicates them.
In the Rescue Wheels sub-series, her vehicle is a pink jet on black oversized wheels with mountain landscape background and yellow and white lightning painted on both sides and contains two modes: land and air. When in air mode, all four wheels rotate and extend upward, acting as propellers that keep her vehicle airborne and is equipped with a hook and claw that allow her to grab and lift things.
In the Air Rescue sub-series, her vehicle is a white air jet with pink, white and purple highlights. Inside the jet, aside from the cockpit where she controls the vehicle, there are two passenger seats in the back that allows her to give the other pups and people rides. It is equipped with a claw or a hook, which she uses to grab the others who may be too far away and a parachute to land on anyone when they fall over.
In "Skye's Road Trip Rescue", she drives a silver camper with pink and purple highlights. Inside is a bathtub, travel edition of Pup Pup Boogie, and a pup-treat dispenser. The top compartment expands into a pop-up tent that she, Everest and Liberty sleep in. The top compartment also stores her glider for the rescue mission. The bottom front compartment stores both Everest's longboard and Liberty's mini-scooter.
In "Skye's Road Trip Rescue", she pilots a light pink hang glider with slightly darker pink highlights. She uses it fly around and locate things with her visor. Much like her other vehicles, it is equipped with a harness. It is stored in the top compartment of her camper.
Skills and Abilities[]
Skye is also very graceful and a good dancer, and can perform backflips with ease (and nearly always does when she jumps).
As a Mighty Pup, she has the ability to fly on a tornado and can control herself in mid-air with her wind-rider wings that appear and disappear along with her tornado by making her a combination of Red Tornado and Angel. While she gets charged-up, she can control the weather like Storm. In The Mighty Movie, she gains the power of flight and super strength like Supergirl and Captain Marvel.

- Skye has been first called on a mission 137 times and called for backup 69 times, the most out of all the pups.
- She has been called into action (either a first response or backup) 206 times.
- Skye is a female Cockapoo.
- Skye likes the color pink as her suit is pink, hot pink, and magenta together (pink is a shade of a magenta-ish hue in RGB space).
- Skye is a helicopter pilot.
- Skye is the shortest and smallest of the main pups.
- She had issues regarding that in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.
- In "Aqua Pups: Pups Save a Floating Castle", Skye is the first pup who has a cousin (Coral).
