Splat Zone Jr. is the tenth and current branding era of Nick Jr. It debuted on July 5, 2023 on the block and September 4, 2023 on the channel, replacing the Ready to Play era on both. Also for both, PAW Patrol was the first show to air with the brand.

Unlike the new Nickelodeon logo, the new Nick Jr. logo isn't (fully) based on nostalgia, but rather relation. The logo now appears in front of the splat that looks a lot like Nickelodeon's. The "Nick" part of the name also becomes white. The "Jr." part is now a gradient, starting a it usual cyan and descending to a blue downward. It's worth noting that the logo keeps its curvy edge font from Ready to Play.

New Naming Scheme[]

The Nick Jr. block and channel gained new naming schemes for preschoolers to tell the two apart even more.

Instead of conversely using the "Nick Jr." and "Nickelodeon" name on the Nickelodeon block, the "Nickelodeon" name has gone full swing. Now all the branding, regardless of when and where it airs, and what is even is, will refer to the block's name as the channel it airs on-"Nickelodeon". The "Nick Jr." name was almost nonexistent, like if the block suddenly ended. That also means that every bumper and ident has two variants!

The block gets a screen bug so kids (and a few adults) can tell they are watching Nick Jr. But the screen bug from Nickelodeon was also used by the brand, conversely or even more than the brand's actual bug, you might get confused into thinking the show was airing outside the block. The only way they could've tell is the bumpers and promos. But it might not even be revealed to the little kids that it is a block and not the main part of the channel.

The Nick Jr. channel also gets a change in its name. The "Channel" part of the name was visually dropped, so the screen bug and other assets will just say "Nick Jr." The channel is still called the "Nick Jr. channel", though.

Bumpers, Idents, and Promos[]

The style and branding of this era is similar to The Splat Zone, a concurrent brand on Nickelodeon at the time. This is most likely to show relation between Nick Jr. and Nick.

Generic bumpers are similar to the generic bumpers in the Nickelodeon in their recent brand. They involve kids playing around with each other, making music, and exploring the world around them. A few of these bumpers are based on the ones on Nickelodeon. There are animated bumpers too that gave us a tour around the "Playhouse". Show-specific bumpers show a clip of the show up next until turning into the logo, which is determined by wherever you are watching Nick Jr.. There are generic bumpers that use this style too.

Like Nickelodeon at the time, Nick Jr. also contains zany 15-second character idents, each based on a different show and made by a different studio (except the ones based on Rubble & Crew and PAW Patrol). While Nickelodeon has three idents, Nick Jr. has six. But three of them were never seen on TV. The shows with these idents are Rubble & Crew, Blue's Clues & You!, and Baby Shark's Big Show!, as well as PAW Patrol, Peppa Pig, and Blaze and the Monster Machines.

Promos, unlike Nickelodeon with 2.5D styles and layers, take place in a 3D playroom, containing shapes of with Nick Jr. characters, and text standing boldly in front of the screen. Like the previous two eras, they are split into three screens. One containing the name of the promoted show or event, the next showing when the event takes place, and lastly the logo of where the event will be at.

Curriculum Boards[]

The curriculum boards are now all similar. There are no more animated bumpers and each now have a image of a character from the represented show in passing through a window to a room with balls and ladders.
