Got kicked out, Svën Höek (episode)?

This article contains information about an episode banned in the United States due to its disturbing content, and therefore will be unavailable to any user from these localities, with the exception of this specific article.

"Sven Höek" is the tenth episode of The Ren & Stimpy Show. It was notably the first Ren & Stimpy episode on which production was completed by Games Animation following John Kricfalusi's firing.

Synopsis[]

As he watches Stimpy's usual idiocy, Ren is looking forward to a visit from his cousin Svën, thinking it will be nice to have a more intelligent companion around for a while. However, when Svën arrives, Ren is dismayed to find that he is actually just as stupid as Stimpy. Stimpy and Svën bond over their disgusting personal possessions, and Ren is horrified when she sees them wearing inflated rubber gloves on their heads (Stimpy claims that they are both "Lodge Brothers" of the "Loyal Order of Stupids"). The next day, poor, exhausted Ren is going out to work (it is not explicitly stated what his job is), and the two are left in the house together, with Ren telling them to behave.

Ren furious at Stimpy and Sven

Ren is furious at Stimpy and Svën for wrecking his things.

After Ren comes home from work, he finds the house in shambles, with the majority of the living room being covered in cat litter. Ren shrugs it off at first, but then he sees that Svën and Stimpy have ruined his material possessions, including putting bubble gum on his opera records, opening his collection of deadly/incurable diseases, and painting his fossilized dinosaur droppings as if they are Easter Eggs. Ren angrily confronts the two in what seems to be one of his highest peaks of anger and threateningly tells them, in a very eerily calm voice, that he is going to tear their lips off, gouge their eyes out, tear their arms out of their sockets, and hit them and then laugh over them shortly after. Before he can act on his threats, however, he decides to go to the bathroom, demanding them to stay right where they are. He comes across a board game Stimpy and Svën were playing, called "Don't Whiz on the Electric Fence". Realizing they like the game, Ren precedes to urinate on it, while laughing maniacally only to end up electrocuted, causing the house to explode. The episode ends with the three being transported to hell where Satan asks Ren, "So, you whizzed on the electric fence, didn't ya?"

Notes[]

  • Ren threatening to gouge Stimpy's and Svën's eyes out was cut from the TV broadcasts, because it was considered too offensive for children. There was also another scene that was deleted where Svën and Stimpy both go to a litter box and do some crazy things in the closet. Both scenes were reinstated on the First and Seconds Seasons DVD; however, the former scene was reinserted from an electronic time-coded VHS tape, hence the grainier footage, timecode, and suddenly changing music.
  • The TV version of the episode also includes different music from when Stimpy and Sven are in the closet.
  • For some reason, this episode was never aired on TeenNick (despite clips from it being used in at least one of The '90s Are All That's promos), and it is also unavailable on Paramount+.
