In this season, full-length half-hour episodes became more common, with the season ultimately including nine half-hour episodes and two hour-length specials, and only seven episodes consisting of 11-minute stories. This season also included ''[[Jimmy Timmy Power Hour]]'', the series' first crossover with ''[[The Fairly OddParents]]''.

The episodes "Sheen's Brain", "MaternoTron Knows Best" / "Send in the Clones", "The Great Egg Heist" / "The Feud", "Out, Darn Spotlight" and "The Junkman Cometh" premiered as a themed premiere week titled "Jimmy Neutron-A-Thon".
