The Policeman's Daughter was confirmed on October 5, 2020 by TeenNick (Israel) and Nickelodeon Israel. Filming started in June 2020 and was postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, filming is set to start back up soon and will finish in 2021. The series premiered on October 28, 2020.
