SpongeBob SquarePants: The Yellow Album is a soundtrack based on the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. It is mostly a collection of songs from the series, some, like "You're Old", extended to fit a full song. It also contains two multimedia tracks, which can only be accessed by playing the disc on a computer.
The cover of The Yellow Album is a plain yellow field, though SpongeBob and Patrick can be found on a sticker on some versions of the cover. The design of the cover The Yellow Album idea is a parody of the idea of The Beatles' The White Album.
