
Tim Eyster (now Trevor Eyster; born on October 10, 1978 in Tarzana, California) is an actor known for his role as Eugene "Sponge" Harris on Salute Your Shorts.
During his time on the show, he was nominated for a Young Artist Award for "Best Young Actor Co-starring in a Cable Series" in 1993.
Prior to Salute Your Shorts, Trevor guest-starred on television shows such as Family Ties, Matlock, Married With Children and Guns of Paradise. He also appeared in the films Prayer of the Rollerboys and Alligator II: The Mutation.
In 1996, he became an emancipated minor and legally changed his first name to "Trevor" in 2002.
After a 21-year hiatus from acting, Trevor returned to acting where he has starred in small television roles and short-films. In 2011, he found a non-profit organization called "...and then, Angels descended."
In 2016, he created a docudrama miniseries called SpongeyLeaks after learning that his disabled aunt was being abused by her state-paid In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) caregiver.
