Tress MacNeille (born June 20, 1951) is an American voice actress and singer best known for providing various voices on such animated series as The Simpsons, Futurama, Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Disney's House of Mouse, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, and Dave the Barbarian.
Her most notable roles on Nickelodeon were as Charlotte Pickles on Rugrats and All Grown Up!, a role she reprised for The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, and Rugrats Go Wild; and as Gertie Shortman, Arnold's grandmother on Hey Arnold!, which she reprised for Hey Arnold!: The Movie and Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie, and also voiced Ms. Slovak, Arnold's first teacher, and Mayor Dixie on the same show. She also voiced Hoodsey Bishop on As Told by Ginger.
In minor roles, she voiced a fly in an episode of ChalkZone, Hama and Avatar Yanchen in separate episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Sassafrass in an episode of Catscratch, and minor characters in Random! Cartoons and Back at the Barnyard.
