Ungifted is an upcoming comedy series that was officially announced on March 2, 2021. It is based off of the book of the same name by Gordan Korman. Not much is known about the series as it was in pre-production. It was set to premiere in Fall 2021, but this never came to be, pushing the show's release in 2023 of an unknown date, and then to 2024. Premiere date is TBA.
Plot[]
When troublemaker Donovan Curtis pulls a major prank at his middle school, he thinks he's finally gone too far. But thanks to a mix-up, instead of getting in trouble, Donovan is sent to the Academy for Scholastic Distinction, a special program for gifted and talented students. It isn't exactly what Donovan had intended, but there couldn't be a more perfect hideout. That is, if he can fool his family, the teachers, the superintendent, and a school full of fellow students with IQs well above genius level.
