An untitled Nickelodeon series based on the newspaper comic strip Garfield was in production. It was announced on August 6, 2019, as part of Viacom acquiring the franchise.[1] On August 2, 2025, Snipple Animation posted something on their Instagram that seemingly confirms they're animating the series.[2] On January 15, 2026, Bob Camp stated on Facebook that the Garfield series has been cancelled. Although he later added a day later that he wasn’t sure if this was true, leaving the faith of the series currently unknown.[3]
