Mr. Wink is a supporting character in the Nickelodeon puppet series, Mr. Meaty. He is the manager of the Mr. Meaty restaurant at the Scaunchboro Mall. His voice actor is Troy Baker.
Background[]
Mr. Wink is the long-suffering manager of the Mr. Meaty restaurant. In a flashback episode, Original Sin, it's revealed that Wink was once a kind and friendly individual; However, after he hired Josh Redgrove and Parker Dinkleman, they thawed out the cryogenically frozen founder of the Mr. Meaty chain, Edward R. Carney.
Carney then forced Wink into servitude using a contract signed by Wink's great-great-great grandfather and implanted a microchip on the back of his neck that shocks him whenever he does something Carney dislikes. This event dramatically changed his personality for the worse.

Personality[]
Initially a kind person, Mr. Wink became bitter and perpetually stressed due to the torment he endures from his boss, Mr. Carney.
He often takes out his frustrations on his employees, Josh and Parker, by yelling at them.
Despite his harsh exterior, there are moments that suggest he still possesses some of his former kindness, though it is buried under the fear of being shocked by the microchip.
He is dedicated to his job, though this is largely out of fear.
Interactions[]
- Josh and Parker: As their manager, Wink has a constantly strained relationship with the two teenage employees. He is frequently yelling at them for their laziness and incompetence. Josh and Parker are the ones who inadvertently caused his enslavement to Mr. Carney when they thawed him from a freezer.
- Edward R. Carney: Mr. Carney is Wink's boss and tormentor. After being thawed out, Carney took control of the Mr. Meaty franchise and Wink's life. He uses a microchip to control Wink and ensure his obedience, a source of constant fear and misery for the manager.
