Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer is a Cuban-American actress and singer. She is best known for playing the role of Kiki on the live-action Nickelodeon series, The Fresh Beat Band. In 2015, she reprised the same role in its animated spin-off, Fresh Beat Band of Spies.
Early life[]
Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer was born in Miami, Florida and raised in Los Angeles, California. When she was twelve years old, she began high school and graduated from the University of Miami with an opera scholarship at age nineteen. Soon after, she performed with the opera company Florida Grand Opera at Carnegie Hall.
Career[]
Gonzalez-Nacer later started an acting career. In 2008, she played the role of Vanessa in the first national tour of In the Heights which became a 2008 Tony Award winner for Best Musical. Gonzalez-Nacer also won a Craig Noel Award in the category of Outstanding Female Lead.
